Board of Directors

The Tucker County Development Authority per state code (§7-12-3) is controlled by a board of not fewer than 12 nor more than 21 persons who are appointed by the Tucker County Commission.

The board is made up of representatives from each of the 5 incorporated municipalities located within the county, as well as citizens who bring diverse backgrounds and represent various geographic areas of Tucker County.

The members of the board are volunteers and agree to serve without pay. Each member is appointed for an initial 3-year term however, they may be reappointed by the county commission for additional 3-year terms.

The county commission also appoints one member to represent the county commission on the board.
