The Tucker County Development Authority has selected the firm of RK&K Civil Engineering headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland with a location in Keyser, West Virginia as their consultant for the development of the Tucker County Industrial Park property. RK&K is celebrating 100 years of service to their clients. The Tucker County Development Authority has been working diligently for five years to overcome multiple challenges that have hampered development of the industrial park.
Established as an industrial park in the early 2000s, the property has sat largely underutilized. Over the last 20 years the property has seen significant changes including the construction of Corridor H (Route 48) across part of the property and a land swap with WV DNR for property across Beaver Creek. Among the tasks RK&K is charged with is evaluating the property given the physical changes and developing a plan for Phase 1 lot development which consists of approximately 25 acres along the industrial park access road. Once RK&K’s work is finished in the next few months, the Tucker County Development Authority will maximize efforts to market the property. The Tucker County Development Authority is already in discussions with potential tenants. If you are interested in learning more about the Tucker County Industrial Park please email steve@tuckerwv.com
