Tucker County Development Authority Advocates for Broadband Expansion to Empower the Community

Posted on 3 years ago

The Tucker County Development Authority (TCDA) continues to take strides towards a digitally empowered future by wholeheartedly advocating for the expansion of broadband infrastructure across Tucker County. In today’s interconnected world, access to high-speed internet has become an indispensable necessity, empowering businesses, educating our youth, and connecting us with endless opportunities.

Recognizing the transformative potential of broadband connectivity, the Tucker County Development Authority has been working diligently in collaboration with the Tucker County Commission, local internet service providers, and state policymakers to pursue opportunities that ensure affordable and reliable broadband access for all residents and businesses in Tucker County.

Broadband expansion represents a game-changing endeavor that will unlock a multitude of benefits for our community. By bridging the digital divide, we will foster innovation, attract new industries, and pave the way for economic growth and job creation. By championing this cause, we aim to ensure that no one in Tucker County is left behind in the digital revolution.

“We firmly believe that broadband access should be a fundamental right, not a luxury,” stated Steven Leyh, Executive Director of the Tucker County Development Authority. “Our commitment to advocating for broadband expansion is driven by our unwavering belief in the power of connectivity to transform lives, bridge gaps, and build a stronger community.”
